Description

Bridge Number 10, known as Marriott's Bridge, is a road bridge on the Macclesfield Canal, completed by 1831 and engineered by William Crosley. It is constructed of dressed stone and features a skew elliptical horseshoe keystone arch. The bridge has convex parapet walls adorned with a stone band and rounded copings, which end in square piers. The mouth of the bridge is grooved for stop planks.
