Description

This barn, dated 1716, is located at Arden Garage. It is constructed of dressed red sandstone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has central opposed cart entries and is rectangular in shape, with haylofts. There is a corrugated iron and brick extension on the right, a lean-to on the left, and additional structures at the rear. The barn has stone quoins and a projecting brick plinth. One of the cart entries is obscured by a 20th-century sliding door, and there are blocked vents along with a loft hatch on the left gable.
