Description
Tame Viaduct was built in 1875 as part of the line from Romiley to Ashburys (in Gorton) for the Sheffield and Midland Railway Companies Committee. The structure is made of brick and features 16 arches with a thicker central pier. It has a brick cornice and stone imposts, all set in a picturesque location.
