Description
Manor House is a house dated 1731, as indicated on the rainwater head. It features rough cast walls with a stone plinth and a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a double-depth central-staircase plan with three storeys and includes a later-added bay to the right. Notable architectural elements include a stone plinth, an eaves cornice with paired brackets, and three chimney stacks. The central porch is recessed and has a six-panel door with a segmental head. To the right, there is a later bay window, while the left side has one window, and the first floor has three windows, all with stone sills and flush 16-pane sashes, except for the central window, which has 12 panes. The second floor features three horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Inside, there are panelled oak doors, battened oak doors, and an open string staircase with turned balusters and a coiled end to the handrail.
