Description

This drinking fountain, located to the south-east of the Church of St Thomas, dates from around 1830 and is made of stone. It features a chamfered stone pier topped with a raking coped head above a shallow corbelled cornice. The fountain has mutilated basins that project from two sides, each set within a niche that is adorned with a trefoiled arch supported by shafts with foliate capitals. An inscription can be found beneath a triangular gablet above the basins.
