Description

The lychgate at Holy Trinity Church was built around 1870 by J. Drew. It is constructed from rock-faced and ashlar stone and features a slate roof. The roof is hipped and has a decorative wrought-iron vane supported by the side walls, which have moulded bands from which the roof structure springs, along with pierced roundels. The lychgate also includes cast-iron gates. This structure is included for its group value.
