Description

Red Lane Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located in Saddleworth. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof, with a rendered rear. The building is a double-depth, two-storey house with a gable entrance. It has a projecting plinth and plain stone eaves gutter brackets. The ground floor includes three and five-light windows, while the first floor has an eight-light workshop window, all of which have recessed flat-faced stone mullions. There are gable chimney stacks, a door to the left gable with a square-cut door surround, and a blocked taking-in door to the right gable. The gables and rear have one, two, and three-light windows.
