Description
Middle Carr Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed from squared rubble, with an addition made of hammer-dressed watershot stone. It features a graduated stone slate roof and has a double-depth, three-storey plan, along with a later two-storey wing at the rear right and a porch wing on the left gable. The front (east) elevation includes six and four-light windows on the ground floor, four-light windows on the first floor, and a ten-light workshop window on the second floor. All windows have recessed flat-faced stone mullions. The building is topped with gable chimney stacks and has two-light windows in the gables. There is a blocked central door at the rear.
