Description
Numbers 13 and 15 are a pair of town houses, now used as a shop, offices, and a tailor's shop, dating from around 1800 and altered over time. They are constructed of brown brick with a slate roof and feature a double-depth plan, with each house being single-fronted. The buildings rise three storeys above basements and have a 2+2 window arrangement. The doorway for No.15 has been altered, while No.13 retains segmental-headed sashed windows and an intact basement with railings and steps leading down. No.15, which has its lower half painted white, features sashed windows with wedge lintels, although the top-floor windows are damaged. There is a gable chimney on the left and a ridge chimney at the junction of the two houses. This pair is a rare example of domestic architecture from this period close to the city centre and forms a group with No.19 to the right and Nos. 69 to 75 Back Piccadilly at the rear.
