Description

This barn, located 11 metres south of Plant Farmhouse, is dated "HW 1828" and is a symmetrical field barn. It is constructed from roughly cut coursed stone and features a central vehicular entrance on each side with a segmental head. On the side facing the road to the west, there are two circular pitching eyes. The roof is made of stone flags. It is likely that the barn was built by William Plant Woodcock, who was born in 1796.
