Description

This is an early 19th-century manor house with associated outbuildings located to the south. The manor house is constructed of coursed, square rubble with three storeys over a basement. It presents a symmetrical facade with three windows, featuring 20th-century glazing; the upper-storey windows are square, while the lower-storey windows are slightly taller than they are wide. A door is centrally placed, surmounted by a plain fanlight under a moulded arch featuring impost blocks and a keystone. Stone steps with an iron rail featuring moulded newels and decorative uprights descend on either side of the door. Flush quoins are present, and a gutter cornice tops the building. To the left is an outbuilding, also likely dating to the early 19th century, set back but aligning with the main house’s eaves. The outbuilding is of rubble construction and features a large circular opening high on its front, set within a frame. Both buildings are roofed with slate.
