Description

Nos. 24 and 26 on Alba Street are 18th-century buildings that form the left-hand end of a row opposite the Shoulder of Mutton public house. They are constructed from coursed rubble and rise three storeys high. The stone splay-mullioned windows are a notable feature, with No. 26 on the left having two 3-light windows, except on the ground floor, which has windows with altered glazing. No. 24 has one 3-light window, with the top floor featuring one 3-light and one 2-light window. The doors are set in flush surrounds, centrally located for No. 26 and to the right of No. 24.
