Description
Bradshaw Head Farmhouse and Barn is a late 18th-century laithe house located on the west side of Watling Street in South Turton. The building is constructed from dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has two bays, with a three-bay barn attached to the left. The farmhouse has three-light windows with flat mullions and an entrance with a plain surround. There are two gable-end stacks on the house. A stone-coped brick garden wall surrounds the property. The barn includes ventilation slits and an altered door, with a small entrance to the right. The left return has a lean-to extension, while the right return features a two-light window, a blocked window, and an entrance. The rear of the building is similar in design.
