Description

A terrace of ten houses located at 12-30 Park Row, Bolton, built around 1830 to 1840. The houses are constructed from coursed and squared watershot stone with slate roofs. They are arranged as a 20-window, two-storey terrace, with each house having a double-pile plan. The doorways have round-arched architraves with keystones and plain fanlights. While most windows have been replaced, some original sash windows remain within their original openings, now typically with wedge lintels. The building features end wall stacks, set forward from the ridge line on both the front and rear roof slopes. The interior has not been inspected. This terrace was part of a planned industrial community at Eagley Bank, developed alongside the Chadwick's Eagley Mills.
