Description

Beggar's Acre is a house, possibly built as a lodge, around 1830. It is constructed of coursed and squared stone with a slate roof. The building is single storey and has a two-unit plan with a central doorway and a shorter parallel rear range. There are pointed arched windows with plain architraves and reticulated tracery on either side of the central door. A similar window is set high in the gable end and in the rear range. There is an axial stack located in the rear wing. The interior has not been inspected.
