Description
Park House is a house primarily built around 1840, though it may include parts of an earlier building. It has been extended by adapting adjoining outbuildings. The structure is made of brick with a slate roof, and some stonework has been rendered over on the rear elevation and in the secondary range.
The main house is two stories high and features a two-window range with a central entrance. On each floor, there are flanking three-light plain chamfered mullioned windows. A rear wing, which may include parts of the earlier structure, and a parallel rear range were added in the later 19th century. There is also a large range at right angles to the main house, which was formerly outbuildings and may have included a dwelling, featuring two 19th-century stone mullioned windows towards the rear. This range has been extensively modified for use as a dwelling. The interior has not been inspected.
