Description
This building, dated 1817, is located at the corner of Dial Street and Naylor Street. It has two high storeys, with the ground floor finished in roughcast and the upper part in painted brick. The front features an open pediment or gable, with a round brick arch over the central window, which has a cornice. The flanking windows have flat brick arches. The ground floor has been modernized. On the left side facing Naylor Street, there are four round-arched windows above and three below, all of which have also been modernized. This building, along with Nos 2 to 6 (even), forms a group with the Cross Keys Public House, Nos 80 to 84 (even), the Roman Catholic Church of St Mary, the Trustee Savings Bank, and No 95 on Buttermarket Street.
