Description

Nos. 3 to 13, Springfield Street, form a terrace of houses built around 1900. The houses are constructed of red brick and are two storeys high, with Nos. 7 to 13 also having a third storey accommodated within gabled dormers topped by pediments. Each house features a bay window with brick dentilled eaves and a parapet. They have panelled doors with fanlights within a moulded arch, although the doorway to No. 3 is partly modern. Sash windows are positioned above the doors. Nos. 3 to 13, along with Nos. 13 and 15 Suez Street, Nos. 9 to 21 (odd) Suez Street, the Museum and Art Gallery on Bold Street, No. 10 Egypt Street, and all listed buildings in Palmyra Square, visually constitute a group.
