Description
This is a farmbuilding, originally a threshing barn, built in 1788 with some earlier features. It has been converted into loose-boxes. The structure is made of brown brick and has a graded grey slate roof. There are threshing porches on each side, featuring oak lintels and doorways that are partly bricked in. The former granary, now a hayloft, has loophole vents that are blocked with red brick. On the east side of the north elevation, there is a lower extension that includes some small oak framing. Inside, the barn features Queen-strut trusses, purlins, and curved windbraces, all made of oak.
