Description

Nos. 3 to 9, China Lane, are a row of probably late 18th-century brick cottages. The cottages are low and two-storeyed. Each has a segmental arched doorway, fitted with a boarded, flush-panelled or modern door. The ground floor has one 12-paned sash window, and the first floor has one 9-paned sash window to each cottage. Nos. 3 to 9 form a group with the Saracen’s Head Public House and stables at No. 383, and Greenall Whitley's Wilderspool Brewery, Wilderspool Causeway.
