Description

Laburnum Farmhouse, now a private residence, dates from the early 18th century and has been altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of brown brick with a slate roof, stone-coped gables, and three brick stacks.

The house is two storeys high with a four-window front. A 20th-century half-glazed door is located to the right of the centre, set beneath a rectangular overlight with patterned glazing. The windows are 20th-century top-hung, camber-headed simulated sash windows with flat arches.

Inside, exposed beams and ceiling joists are visible, along with a four-panel door.

Attached to the front are garden walls constructed of coursed sandstone rubble with sloped coping, standing approximately 1.25 metres high and ramping up to the left of the front gate.
