Description

A row of four boundary stones, dating from around 1770, is located on the south bank of a water meadow in Frodsham. Made of sandstone, each stone stands about 50 cm above ground and has a rectangular section measuring 20-25 cm. The second stone from the west is inscribed with "JW" in bold capitals on its west face. These stones are remnants of a larger group that marked the boundaries of farmers' rights to strips of the water meadow.
