Description
The Store and Garages at Crossley East Hospital is a former ambulance garage and stable built between 1902 and 1904, with later 20th-century alterations and additions. It is constructed of common brick, featuring red brick dressings and hipped plain tile roofs. The building is single storey and has an L-shaped plan with two bays on each side. The west side includes two pairs of carriage doors with glazed overlights. There is a projection on the left side that has a door and overlight in the return angle, flanked by a blocked window. A central segment-headed light is located at the rear. The interior was not accessible during the survey. This building is included for its group value.
