Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably dating from the mid-17th century, that has been altered over time. The building features a small-framed oak cross-wing on the left side, topped with a grey slate roof. The modernized wing on the right is rendered and has a cement-tiled roof. The farmhouse is 1½ storeys high. The cross-wing has one replaced small-pane casement window on the front for each storey, and two windows in the lower storey on the left side. It also has brick chimneys at the ridge and rear gable, and a step-pitched roof that was likely originally thatched. The right wing includes chimneys at the ridge and right gable. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted that oak beams are said to be cased in plaster.
