Description

Hollies Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Onston Lane in Crowton. It is constructed of Flemish bond red brick with washed stone dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with two gable brick chimneys. The north front is symmetrical, with three bays, and features a stone plinth and cornice. The end bays contain 16-pane sash windows with flat wedged stone surrounds and stone sills. The central bay has a wooden architrave with a triangular pediment, sheltering a four-panelled door and a fanlight with radial glazing bars. A plain sash window sits above the door, also within a stone surround. Metal casements are found on the side and rear elevations. The building is listed for its group value.
