Description
Birchtree Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond red brick and has a cement tile roof with two gable brick chimneys. The building has an L-shaped plan and features a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay south front. The brickwork slightly steps out at the first floor, topped with a simple wooden cornice. The end bays have cambered gauged brick heads above three-light wooden casements. The central bay features a brick semi-circular headed surround for a four-panelled door, which is accompanied by a plain fanlight. There are blocked windows on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
