Description

Aston Cross, located on Aston Lane in Aston by Sutton, is a Grade II listed structure consisting of the base and shaft of a cross or sundial, likely dating from the 17th century. The cross is made of red sandstone and features a triangular base with two steps leading up to a square plinth. The shaft is stop-chamfered, and the square head has a slightly raised square panel on top, which includes a central sinking that resembles the base for a sundial that has been removed.
