Description

Number 100 Street is a town house built around 1790, which is part of a single structure with Number 98 Street. It features brown Flemish bond brickwork and a grey slate roof, rising to three storeys. The building has a painted stone plinth with an opening to the cellar, accessed by four stone steps leading to the east door. This door has six bolection-moulded fielded panels within a doorcase topped by a pediment on console brackets. Each storey has two recessed sash windows; the first and second storeys have 12 panes, while the third storey has 9 panes. The windows are set with painted stone sills and wedge lintels that include reeded false keystones. A stone band on the second storey, which continues from Number 98, is positioned one brick course higher than the sills. The building is capped with a moulded cornice and has two chimneys on the west side.

At the rear, there is a small one-storey lean-to outshut on the east side, a tall flush sash window of 27 panes for the stair, and a flush 12-pane sash window for the second and third storeys, all with stone sills; except for the third storey, these have cambered brick heads. A later addition on the west side includes a recessed 12-pane sash window on each upper storey, with painted stone sills and wedge lintels. The interior could not be inspected.
