Description
The derelict stable and granary, located 45 meters north of Shotwick Hall, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of English bond orange brick with flush red sandstone quoins, but it has no surviving roof. The building is two stories high and features a three-bay south front with a plain band at the first floor. There are inserted doors on the left and right sides, along with a central window that is set under a weak brick arch. A flight of steps is positioned against the left side, and there are ventilation slots at the rear.
