Description

The sundial at Willington Hall was created around 1830 for Colonel W. Tomkinson. It is made of buff sandstone and features a square base that supports a square pier. The pier has a moulded plinth and strapwork details on its body, topped with a projecting moulded capstone. The sundial includes a well-crafted circular bronze plate displaying Italic Roman numerals and the latitude.
