Description
The Methodist Chapel in Willington, dated 1823, is constructed from washed and rendered stone with a Welsh slate roof and a brick chimney. It has a T-shaped plan, featuring a gabled front with a central gabled porch that includes a door on the left side. Above the porch, there are two 4-centered arched windows with original small-pane glazing and tracery at the top, including a central rosette. An oval date plaque is positioned above the porch, along with a ventilator stone in the gable. The sides of the chapel have similar windows without rosettes, each with four hinged central panes. Inside, the chapel contains later 19th-century fittings, including pine pews and a reader's desk.
