Description

This drinking fountain, dating from around 1850, is made of red sandstone and is set into a small cliff of similar stone. It features a semicircular arched opening made of three stones that are carved to resemble rusticated voussoirs, complete with a keystone. The sill is designed to allow water to flow into a semicircular dish at the base, intended for human use, while the dish serves as a water source for pets. The fountain is currently damaged and dry.
