Description
The Parish Room is a hall built around 1850 for the 2nd Marquis of Westminster. It is constructed of brown brick with rusticated red sandstone quoins and features a hipped grey slate roof. The building has replaced windows set in unaltered openings, which have label mould stone lintels; there is one window at the front and two on the left side. At the rear, a Tudor arched opening made of gauged brick contains a Gothick window of cast iron within a mullioned timber sub-frame. To the right, there is a modern brick porch with a lean-to roof, and at the rear, there is a flat-roofed extension that is offset to the right.
