Description
Galemoss Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the early 17th century. It features oak small framing with plaster panels, with some brick extensions at the front, right, and rear added by the Arley estate. The building has steep tiled roofs, which were probably thatched originally. It is one storey high with attic bedrooms and has two windows on the front, along with a 19th-century "catslide" outshut to the right. The main front face has small framing, and there is a slightly truncated full cruck in the left gable. A small-framed rear wing is flush with the left gable, while the right gable end was rebuilt in the late 19th century by the Arley estate, featuring a castellated band at the first floor and a small casement window. The front has two gabled dormers. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted that there are full crucks and bevelled and ovolo beams.
