Description

This is a farm building located 15 metres north of The Farm in Willaston Village, dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brown brick in English garden-wall bond, with some parts rendered, and features a slate roof with coped gables.

The building is a single storey with a loft and has a five-bay range. It includes half heck doors, two of which have shallow arched heads, while one has a stone lintel; all doors are fitted with hinge and latch blocks. There are breather vents arranged in a diamond pattern between three large circular pitch holes and one altered window at loft level.

Inside, the roof frame is supported by cross walls that have large semicircular headed openings at the loft level.
