Description

The garden walls of Vine House, dating from the 18th century, enclose the garden on the north and west sides. Constructed of red brick, the lower courses are in English garden-wall bond, while the upper courses are in random bond, topped with coping made of bricks laid on edge. The walls are of the crinkle crankle type, standing approximately 3.5 meters high, and feature concave bays separated by lengths of straight walling measuring approximately 3.7 meters and 0.9 meters long, respectively.
