3/46 Tombchest of James s Phillips, 2m south of the sundial in the churchyard of St Michael.

GV II

Tombchest: dated 1780. Ashlar red sandstone. Long sides have 2 fielded panels separated by flutings, flutings on the corners and a single panel on the short side. Top slab has a cyma-moulded cornice and inscription in serifed lettering.
