Description

The model of the Grosvenor Bridge is located in Chester City, specifically in Water Tower Gardens. It is a scale model of the Grosvenor Bridge, which carries Grosvenor Road across the River Dee. The model was likely created in 1826 to show its sponsors the design of the bridge that was constructed between 1827 and 1833. It measures approximately 5.5 meters long and nearly one meter high. In the 1980s, the model was relocated from south of Raymond Street to its current location.
