Description
Ivy Cottage is a late 18th and early 19th century house located on Huxley Lane in Tiverton. The house is built of red and yellow Flemish bond brick with a 20th-century pantile roof. The entrance front features yellow brick headers. The symmetrical design has two bays, with a central ground floor door consisting of six raised and fielded panels within a panelled surround, topped by an open pediment. To either side of the door at ground floor level are cambered-headed two-light casement windows, and above them on the first floor are similar windows with flat lintels. The house has two gable chimney stacks.
