Description
Sandiway Bank Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on Whitegate Road in Weaverham. It is constructed of Flemish bond plum brick with washed stone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with two gable brick chimneys. The building has a symmetrical two-storey front with three bays. There is a plain band at the first floor and a simple cornice above. The end bays contain 12-pane sash windows with rusticated lintels. The entrance has a simple stone doorcase topped with an open triangular pediment, a six-panelled door, and a fanlight with radial glazing bars. Additionally, the lunettes in the gable end also have radial glazing bars, although one is painted.
