5/23 Park Gates and Gate Piers with Wing Walls on north drive to Bolesworth 4/1/1984 Castle (formerly listed under II Bolesworth Castle Park)

Gate piersand Walls 1829 or later, of red sandstone; gates probably late C19, of wrought iron. Two pairs of gatepiers (linked by a wall) with plain plinths, tooled masonry piers and projecting cornices. The pair on the drive carry stone balls; the pair to the west (which gave access to the park and lake) do not. The wing walls drop to a lower height. The gates have panels and top-hamper of scrolls.
