Description
The wall and steps of the middle terrace in front of Bolesworth Castle were likely built between 1920 and 1923 by the architect Clough Williams Ellis for G. Barbour. Constructed from sandstone, the terrace features a curved stairway that leads down to the lower terrace. The steps are positioned on either side of a loggia, which is accessed from the lower terrace through a rusticated semi-circular arched opening.
