Description
The bridge over the north end of the fishpond at Bolesworth Castle was built around 1830 for the Bolesworth Castle estate. It is constructed of ashlar sandstone and features a single span that carries a track over the parkland pond. The bridge has a moulded segmental arch supported by pilaster buttresses, with roundels in the spandrels. The curved wing walls have plain copings that rise to a level-topped parapet, which is pierced by 14 round-headed loops. The bridge has not been fully inspected.
