Description

Canal Bridge Number 120 is a canal bridge built around 1775 by Samuel Weston for the Chester Canal Company. It is constructed of washed brick with stone dressings. The bridge features a segmental brick arch supported by canted piers, which include a keystone and a projecting stone course above. The plain parapet has stone coping and curves to form short wing walls that end in plain pilasters, although these pilasters have lost their pyramidal caps.
