Description

Primrose, Holly, Clematis, and Rose Cottages form an early 19th-century terrace of four cottages situated on the west side of the village. The cottages are built of Flemish bond plum brick, with a Welsh slate roof and five brick chimneys. They have a rectangular plan, composed of three two-bay cottages and one three-bay cottage. The two-storey, nine-bay front features 16-pane sash windows with flat, wedged stone heads and stone sills; Clematis Cottage has 20th-century casement windows. The half-glazed doors have semi-circular brick heads, and there are blocked fanlights above them. The cottages are listed for group value only.
