Description

This is a table tomb located in the churchyard of St Oswald's Church, immediately east of the chancel. It is probably from the 17th century and made of red sandstone, which is very worn. The sides of the tomb feature three panels that bear a shield, likely belonging to the Margel family, alternating with plain strips that form part of the surround. Each end of the tomb is similarly decorated with one shield between plain strips. The top slab has chamfered corners, but there is no visible inscription.
