Description

No. 20 Beam Street is a 17th-century building featuring a timber frame with painted brick and plaster infilling. It stands two storeys high and has two modern casement windows. The entrance is highlighted by a moulded wood pilaster doorcase with a pediment and a plain semi-circular fanlight, although the original 18th-century panelled door has been replaced by a modern door. The roof is tiled. Former outbuildings that were located along Pepper Street have now been demolished.
