Description
Bryn-y-Baer Lodge is a house dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It features a timber frame with rendered and whitewashed infill, topped by a slate roof. The building is two storeys high. The entrance front has a 19th-century gabled entrance porch positioned to the left of the center. To the right of the porch is a single light window, followed by a two-light window. A stone plinth to the left of the porch supports three by three cells of small framing with an angle brace. The left gable end also displays three by three cells of small framing, featuring a Queen-post truss in the gable. Inside, the parlour has chamfered beams, and one internal wall showcases small framing.
