Description

Ollerton House is a house dated 1737, as indicated by the initials "T H M" on a date stone. Constructed of red English garden wall bond brick with a slate roof, it is three storeys high. The front elevation is symmetrically arranged with three bays. The central doorway has a flat-arched head with a keystone, framing a 19th-century door and wooden reveal. Flatt-arched headed window openings, also with keystones and stone sills, flank the entrance, containing 19th-century sash windows with exposed sash boxes. The ground floor windows are plate glass in the lower sash with glazing bars above. The first floor has three similar windows, and the second floor has three smaller, similar windows, but without the flat arches or keystones. A moulded eaves cornice is topped by a small central pediment containing the date stone.
