Description

Hollingshead Bridge is an accommodation bridge built between 1827 and 1833, designed by Thomas Telford. It features a skew design and is constructed from washed brick, with a stone band and coping. The bridge has a single-basket arch with a saw-toothed arch ring, solid parapets, and piers. Additionally, there is a towpath retaining wall topped with stone coping.
